Retail investors still depend on digital sources before they act
Amundi’s 2025 digital investment research shows that investment decisions are shaped well before users reach the app.
The chart says 73% of investors use digitally sourced information, advice, or guidance with:
• media influencers at 38%
• investment provider websites at 31%
• and bank websites at 28%.
In simple terms, the trust and education layer sits outside the product as much as inside it. That is why retention is partly an information-environment problem, not just a UX problem.
