DTCC runs first live tokenized settlement with 40+ firms – Link

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation executed live production settlement of tokenized equities, ETFs, and Treasuries on Canton Network with more than 40 participating firms. Institutional demand exceeded supply, and a full launch is planned for October 2026.

Matters because: This is a major sign of Wall Street adoption of blockchain infrastructure.
